Shalom brothers and sisters.. I just have a question about eating clean or unclean in Devariym ch 12:15, 22. I've quit eating and cooking the way I used to and I fear Yahuah. I don't want to go back, not even thinking about it. But how do I understand these verses concerning the clean with the unclean? What are your thoughts?

I’m definitely not perfect in my understanding of Torah yet but I think these verses are referring to people who are clean or unclean rather than meats that are unfit for eating. For example, a person could become unclean from burying a dead body or from giving birth. That just meant that they couldn’t go into the temple to offer anything until after they had cleansed themselves (usually with water ) for a period of time. After the prescribed amount of time, they would be able to go into the temple again. I forget the exact process but there were various different things that could make a person unclean. But unclean meat means meat that is unfit for eating like pork or shrimp. In this case, I think it’s talking about unclean people being allowed to eat of clean meats :) I hope that makes sense! Please double check what I’m saying :)
I spent a bit of time studying this some months back for the same reasons. Because it appears to contradict chapter 14. However this is in reference to those who are clean and unclean as a result of actions they may have done during that day. For instance, touching a dead body would make you unclean until the end of the day, or breaking a statute would make you unclean. Regardless the context of the chapter is that when the Israelites made it past the Jordan, conquered the existing nations there, and set up their Tabernacles and dwellings, that they should rejoice Because the promise was fulfilled. Just the same, as they could then offer sacrifices, they should not do those sacrifices anywhere they wanted, except at the tabernacle for the Levite to take care of. In chapter 14 we find that the Roebuck and the Hart are actually clean animals so the reference in chapter 12 is referring to unclean people, not animals
