I was reading 1. Kings the other day. Salomon wanted to fulfill scripture that was to be fulfilled by Jesus, at least thats the feeling I got. And despite his wisdom he broke many laws. He had a wife not of the isrealites, he made images from things in heaven and on earth.... he had many many wives. And the number 666 appears with him. Whats up with all that? Does anyone have verses to point me to what God says about Salomon? Does it say anywhere that he had God in his heart? Or was he the ultimate example of what happens when one trusts in his own wisdom more than in God? Any reference to him being with gods spirit?

I would like to know also ☺
You have to keep in mind that people are free to flip flop. We've been brought up in the Calvinist theology of once saved always saved, people are always righteous or wicked and can't flip flop. But the scriptures are clear that you can repent back and forth between righteous and wicked multiple times in your life. And what matters is where you are today, or the day you die. Solomon started out good and then did evil. He may have flip flopped a few times in between. He may have repented toward righteousness one last time before he died, or repented toward evil one last time before he died. We won't know until we enter the promised city from above. But my point is that Solomon's life was complicated, just like so many of ours. His evil does not change the good. His good does not change his evil. And whether YHWH ultimately judges him good or evil will be based on his most recent repentance before his death.
I’m not completely sure how Shalomah ended life, with Yah or without. It is clear he did even in the eyes of the Most High later in his life. Also, I know that freemasonry practically idolizes him which can’t be a good sign. They talk about the “key of Solomon” as being a way to achieve enlightenment. That may really be the only detail we need.

For some reason I don’t have that option. All I see is share, copy text, and delete.
Odd. Maybe a difference between mobile and desktop site?
Yup, edit only shows on website, not in phone app. Just confirmed.
