Hello. I was just wondering how others celebrate Hanukkah. This is our second year and I’m looking for ideas and tips on how to go about it. Scriptures, stories. I’m not 100% sure on what to read. Thanks everybody

We celebrate when Yarushalaim is dedicated here on earth.
Sorry, I don’t celebrate Hanukkah. I have heard people say, Yashua celebrated it in the Bible, but They did not know which scriptures referred to this. I don’t know where the scriptures are that they are referring to either. If you know where they are, please let me know. Thank you
John 10:22 Though you can't say for sure whether or not he "celebrated" it. Though He does seem to be in attendance.
Thanks
The relevant scriptures would be Maccabees.
I would say He celebrated the Temple dedication that Solomon did, not Hanukkah, because isn't Hanukkah something to do with a miracle and 8 days of oil?
This year I read the information Jacquie wrote, A wife’s guide to dedication”. It was very helpful. I’m using her ideas this year of celebrating each feast on a different night. I just wanted to see if anybody else did as well, and how they celebrated it.
What if you are not a wife and you don’t know anyone around you close enough to celebrate with you. Should you take on both the husband’s and wife’s role?
Yes, yesterday I read that, and I did the whole read 1 Kings 8. That was fun.
I will have to look deeper into this matter of Hanukkah celebrations. For now I don’t feel comfortable celebrating Hanukkah — it makes me feel like I am trying to replace Christmas and it is not one of the 7 Feast that YAH says are His Feasts. And Hanukkah changes the whole meaning of the 🕎 menorah that was the temple furniture.
They use a different menorah, which, makes it not the temple one, but, that may be worse. I heard the middle candle of the 9 candle Hanukkah menorah is for Babylonian sun god worship.

This is why I said Temple Dedication that is different. The Most High YAHUWAH came done to the Temple and Solomon said an awesome prayer. Might want to read 1 Kings 8 as well. For sure I don't think we should follow the Jewish traditions or all their festivals because they are moon worshipers, and I don't think they worship YAH at all. It's sad but the Jews are moon worshipers, and the Christians are sun worshipers. Or at least Catholic Christians for sure, protestants left a lot of it but not all.
I am going along with the feast of dedications. Where each night of Hanukkah, you celebrate Yah by celebrating the feasts. First night Passover, second night Unleavened bread, and so on. My question was that of those who do celebrate it, how do they? We will be reading 1Kings and the Maccabees. We are choosing to give gifts which will go along with each of the feasts. I’m still learning through all of this. Even though I was raised in the church, I never knew the Bible. I only knew Jesus in my heart. So I am trying to read through my Bible and learn.
Yes, this is the biggest problem with Christians I think no one reads, so glad that you are reading now. There are so many things to learn from Torah.
