Shalom all. I am a combat vet with PTSD. My mental state has not been very healthy over the past several months since my heart surgery, so I was wondering what people’s thoughts were on medication such as Zoloft and others to combat anxiety and anger issues? No need to go into all of the bad stuff about big Pharma, I am well aware of all of that LOL. If so inclined, I especially would like to hear from other veterans, specifically combat veterans and how they deal with their struggles. I have been on several medications in the past, however the side effects ended up outweighing the benefits I was receiving from the medications. I have done a nine week live-in clinic in Batavia, New York for PTSD and was much better following that, but only for a time. That was a couple of years ago. I wasn’t doing too badly up until about June of this year where I have undergone a quadruple bypass heart surgery. Please understand I’m not looking for sympathy, just for some helpful information others may have to share. Anyhow, thank you very much for the time and I look forward to people’s responses.
