Shalom brothers and sisters. I am this year exactly 30 years with Yeshuah in my heart and recently I finally make a decision to follow the Torah as His commandments to me as the way to live pleasing my Elohim by doing so. And I’ve got in trouble to do so right away as soon as I start to do my first Shabbat. So first and foremost I cannot work on this day and put other to work also. So how about using internet on Shabbat, is it means someone has to work for me to make sure my internet works correctly on that day, someone has to be there somewhere in order to make sure it works, am I right? Same story with cell phone, electricity, medical emergency. What is your suggestion on that? Thank you, brothers and sisters for your attention. Taras

In my understanding Shabbat is All about YHWH and spending the whole day giving glory to him. For me I usually spend my sabbath digging into his word by reading scripture (both from book and internet) and looking up verses (on the internet) I also watch videos such as PoTVs Torah portions. I also spend time talking about YHWH with my family and spend time trying to teach myself Hebrew. I guess to answer your question I don’t know if anyone knows exactly how to spend Shabbat. I believe we shouldn’t buy or sell (that’s what the preparation day is for) and I also believe that we should keep YHWH in our thoughts and our heart the whole day without interruption. I hope this helps and if anyone can correct me on how I currently celebrate I would be happy to be rebuked. Shalom!
