He raised the dead Verse 1 Next, there was a certain man named Alazer (Lazarus) of Bethany from the village of Miryam (Mary) and of Martha her sister. Verse 2 Mariyam (Mary) was the one who had anointed the Teacher with fragrant oil and had wiped His feet with her hair and it was her brother Alazer (Lazarus) a child of Light who was sick. Verse 3 The sisters sent Him a message saying, “Teacher, behold, the one who is Your favorite is sick.” Verse 4 But when the Son of Light Yahuwshua (Joshua) heard, He said, “This sickness from the son of darkness will not kill him however it’s to show how far the Father’s help and glory will come for us, and that YAHUWAH gives Me honor by its success.” Verse 5 And the Son of Light Yahuwshua delighted in Martha, her sister, and Alazer (Lazarus) because they were children of Light. Verse 6 Therefore, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days where He was. Verse 7 Then after He was done, He told His MalakiYA, “Let’s go into Judea of the children of darkness.” Verse 8 “Teacher,” His MalakiYA said to Him, “The Jews just tried to stone You to death, and You are planning on leading us there again?” Verse 9 Yahuwshua said to them, “Are there not nine hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he will not stumble because he can see since the LIGHT is in the world.” Verse 10 “But if anyone walks in the night they will stumble because the LIGHT is not in him.” Verse 11 He said this and then told them, “Alazer (Lazarus) has fallen asleep however I go to wake him.” Verse 12 Therefore, His MalakiYA said to Him, “Teacher if he has fallen asleep then he will get well.” Verse 13 But the Son of Light Yahuwshua was talking about His death they however thought that He was talking about the rest you get from sleeping. Could be talking about life just found two words for the word death. Verse 14 Then the Son of Light Yahuwshua said to them boldly, Alazer (Lazarus) has died to the first death. Verse 15 And I will delight in the charity of the Father because of the success of what you are about to see because it is for you to completely trust Him that is why we haven’t gone to see him but now I have permission so let us now go see him. Verse 16 Then Thomas who was called Dydymus said to the MalakiYA, “Let us go that we may die with Him.” Verse 17 When the Son of Light Yahuwshua came he had already been in the tomb for four days. Verse 18 Bethany was about two miles from Jerusalem of the children of darkness. Verse 19 And so many Jews had come to console Martha and Miryam (Mary), children of Light, because of their brother’s death. Verse 20 When Martha heard that Yahuwshua was coming she went out to meet Him. Miryam however stayed in the house. Verse 21 Then Martha said to the Son of Light Yahuwshua, “Teacher, if you had been here my brother wouldn’t have died.” Verse 22 “Nevertheless, I know that You can ask for an unlimited number of things from the Father the Children of Light and that no matter how great, if You ask, He will give it to You.” Verse 23 The Son of Light Yahuwshua said to her, “The Father will raise your brother back to you.” Verse 24 Then Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again on the resurrection of the Final Day.” Verse 25 The Son of Light Yahuwshua said to her, “The resurrection and Life exist in Me for all who completely trust in the Father even if he should die, he will live.” Verse 26 “And every one of the children of darkness who completely trust in My Father and who let Him live inside of them as I have let Him live in Me, shall never ever die, and will even see the Messianic age. Do you trust in My words?” Verse 27 She said to Him, “I completely trust that You are the Great Prophet that Mushah (Moses) said was coming into the world, who is the Son of Light from the Father of the Children of Light.” Verse 28 And after saying this she went to call her sister Miryam secretly and said, “The Teacher has come, and He calls for you.’ Verse 29 And when she heard she quickly got up and went to Him. Verse 30 The Son of Light Yahuwshua had not yet come into the village but was still in the place where Martha had met Him. Verse 31 Then the Jews who were children of darkness and where in her house consoling her, when they saw that she quickly got up and went outside for they thought she was going to the tomb to cry there, and so they followed her. Verse 32 Therefore, when Miryam saw where Yahuwshua was she fell down at His feet saying, “Teacher, if you had been here my brother would not have died.” Verse 33 When Yahuwshua saw that she was weeping and the Jews had also come with her weeping, His spirit became angry, and He became upset. Verse 34 And He said, “Where is his tomb?” they said to Him, “Teacher, come with us.” Verse 35 The Son of Light Yahuwshua wept. Verse 36 Therefore, the Jews said, “It looks like they were really close friends!” Verse 37 And yet others said, “Doesn’t this man have the power to open the eyes of the blind, He should have also kept this man from dying.” Verse 38 Yahuwshua was again enraged by them when He came to the tomb. It was a cave, and it had a huge stone blocking the entire entrance. Verse 39 The Son of Light Yahuwshua said, “Remove the stone!” Martha, the sister of the one who died, then said to Him, “Teacher, he has been in there for four days now, he has started to rot and would smell terribly.” Verse 40 The Son of Light Yahuwshua said to her, “Didn’t I already tell you that if you completely trust in YAHUWAH, the Great LIGHT, that you would see His marvelous wonders?” Verse 41 They then removed the stone. Now the Son of Light Yahuwshua raised His eyes toward Heaven and said, “My Father I am grateful for Your charity and that You have heard Me.” Verse 42 “But I know that You always hear Me. However, I only say this for the success of the crowd of children of darkness who are standing away from us, I have said this so that they may completely trust You and for them to know that You sent Me.” Verse 43 And after saying these things He yelled and said, “Alazer (Lazarus), come out now!” Verse 44 The one who was dead and bound by linen strips from head to toe, his hands and feet were bound, and his face was in a headcloth. The Son of Light Yahuwshua said to them, “Release him for by the authority My Father has given Me he has been led back to life.” Verse 45 Therefore, many of the Jews who were children of darkness who had come to Miryam and had seen what He did now completely trusted in YAHUWAH. Verse 46 However, some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what He had done. Verse 47 The chief priests and the Pharisees summoned the Sanhedrin and said, “What are we going to do about this Man?” “For He comes from Satan to steal our brothers and is the son of darkness and Satan has given Him power to do many signs and wonders to lead the people astray.” Verse 48 “If we permit Him to go on like this all will completely trust in this YAHUWAH instead of in elohim and then the Romans will come and take our power and nation.” Verse 49 But one of them, Caiaphas, who had been made the high priest that year said to them, “You do not know anything, Verse 50 nor do you consider it logical that it is to our benefit that one man should die for the benefit of the people instead of having the whole nation be destroyed.“ Verse 51 He did not say this on his own however because he was the high priest that year, he prophesied that Yahuwshua would die for the benefit of the nation, Verse 52 and not only for the benefit of the nation but for all the Children of Light of YAHUWAH, even those who were scattered and are wasting away, that He might bring them together to be One. Verse 53 From that day on the children of darkness got serious about the matter of killing Him and determined that is what they were going to do. Verse 54 Therefore, the Son of Light Yahuwshua no longer boldly walked among the Jews but instead went away into the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim. And He lived there with His MalakiYA. Verse 55 And it was almost time for the Passover of the Jews, and many were going up to Jerusalem from the surrounding region, so that they might be purified of their sins. Verse 56 And so, they were seeking for the Son of Light Yahuwshua (Joshua) and saying one to the other as they stood in the Temple complex, “What’s your opinion do you think He will show up? I don’t think so?” Verse 57 The chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders to everyone that if they knew where He was that they should inform them so that He could be arrested.
