I just noticed this like 3 months ago.
But the Ten commandments everyone says are the ten commandments are not the ten commandments.
The Bibles with headings put Ten Commandments in the heading but it doesn't say that in the text.
ESV Deuteronomy 5:1
“Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the rules that I speak in your hearing today, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them.
ESV Exodus 15:1
"And God spoke all these words, saying,"
ESV Exodus 34:10-26 on the other hand are the ten commandments and in verse 28 it actually says this is the ten commandments and that this is the Covenant that I make with you today.
28 "So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments."
I don't know have I been the designated find the fault with everything we believe person or what, but I did notice this. Only in Exodus 34 does it say these are the Ten Commandments in the text and the other 2 locations are headings added by the bibles and I guess by probably the Jews saying these are the ten. But the text tells us the ten are in Exodus 34.
Has anyone ever noticed this before?
Ok since I asked that question, I decided to go to Wikipedia before posting this and it seems that they think that Exodus 34 just mentions them, and they are in Deut. 5 and Exodus 20. But then they make a list of the commandments in Exo. 20 and Deut. 5 and they are 14 not ten so then people just pick and choose what 10 they want out of the 14. But if you read the ones in 34 before verse 28 it is only 10.

I have not seen this before. But I am glad to read this.
Exodus 34
Verse 10
And He said, Behold I make a Covenant in front of all the people. I will accomplish marvels, wonders, and extraordinary things of which you can only imagine, that which none in all the heavens or the earth can do. And all the nations and people shall become aware of how much I love you out of all My Creation that YAHUWAH has done, for they will fear, revere, and be awestruck of that which I am going to do for you and do against them.
Verse 11
Guard the responsibilities that I am giving you today, I will drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
Verse 12
Make sure you guard these commandments, or you will cut a covenant with the people that dwell in the land. Because If you enter the land and do according to what I have told you not to do, it will be a snare in your heart and it will convince you to disobey the Most High YAHUWAH.
Verse 13
Certainly, you will destroy their altars, their sacred pillars, and their wooden images you will cut down.

Verse 16
Your sons will take wives from their daughters and their wives will prostitute themselves to their gods and will lead your sons to also prostitute themselves with her gods.
Verse 17
You shall not offer drink offerings to any gods made of cast metal, wood, or woven together.
Verse 18
And you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread as I commanded you in the appointed time in the 364-day solar calendar of Enoch which I gave to Moses to observe and guard. It will be in the first month of the year for that is when I lead you out of Egypt.
Verse 19
Remember that for all time all that open the womb are Mine also, the livestock the firstborn of the cattle and sheep.
Verse 20
But from the donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, and if you do not rescue it then break its neck. All your firstborn sons and daughters you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me with pride in their hearts.

Verse 23
Three times a year will all the men appear before the Most High, YAHUWAH, the Eloah of Yasarel.
Verse 24
Because I will destroy and bring complete ruin to all the nations in your presence and expand your borders mankind will have no pleasure or delight in the earth, but it won’t matter if you come to visit YAHUWAH three times a year and appear before the Eloah of Yasarel to exalt, with gifts, and do not depart in all the Ways I have commanded this day.
Verse 25
You shall not offer a sacrifice to Me if your desires are inclined to do evil because you shall contaminate My righteous sacrifices with your evil desires, nor shall you leave the sacrifice of the Passover Feast until morning. (Do not contaminate my sacrifices.)
Verse 26
The Firstfruits of all your land shall go into the house of YAHUWAH your Eloah. Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
Verse 27
And commanded YAHUWAH to Moses, write down all the words I spoke to you because according to the words I have spoken together we cut a covenant with Yasarel.
Verse 28
So, it came to pass that he was with YAHUWAH 40 days and 40 nights, and he did not eat any bread or drink any water. And he wrote down on the stone tablets the Words of the Everlasting Covenant, the Ten Commandments.
I color coded them and left everything that is talking about the same thing together. So these would be the 10. What you guys think?
