No Fear, No Goodness

Prophecy tells us that in the latter days, the Children of Israel will return to the fear of Yahuah. See how His goodness, and our fear of Him are interconnected.

"For the children of Yashar'el shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without Teraphiym: Afterward shall the children of Yashar'el return, and seek YAHUAH ELOHAYHEM, and David their King; and shall FEAR EL-YAHUAH and His goodness in the latter days."

Hosea 3:4-5

FEAR: Strong's Hebrew 6342 - pachad (paw-kkad)

"To dread. To be in dread or awe. Afraid, come in dread, come trembling, dread, fear, fears, shake, stands in awe." Also used as "dread" in Deut. 28:66, Job 3:25, Job 4:14, Job 23:15, Psalm 14:5, Psalm 27:1, Psalm 53:5, Proverbs 3:24, Isaiah 12:2 and many more places of the 66 book canon.

There are many incredibly prophetic aspects to this section of scripture in the Book of Hosea, but I wanted to point out the incredible implications held here in verses 4-5. Simply put, this is telling us that following a period of time where Israel has no king, ruler, sacrificial system (of animals) or a human earthly priest, a time would come IN THE LATTER DAYS when the children of Yashar'el (Israel) will return to YAHUAH. They will also seek the throne of King David (In which our Messiah is known to sit), and shall FEAR EL-YAHUAH and His goodness.

This reminds me of 1 Peter 1:17 which says:

"If you call on Him as Father—the One who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds—then live out the time of sojourning in reverent fear."

And Matthew 10:28 also:

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

So the Proverbs ring all the more true when they say:

"The fear of the Adonai is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Proverbs 1:7)

"Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord," (Proverbs 1:29)

"My son, if you accept my words and treasure my mitzvot (instructions) within you, making your ear attentive to wisdom, inclining your heart to discernment, yes, if you call out for insight, lifting up your voice for discernment, if you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures, then you will know the FEAR of Adonai and discover the knowledge of Elohim." (Proverbs 2:1-5)

"Be not wise in your own eyes; fear YAHUAH, and turn away from evil." (Proverbs 3:7)

In conclusion, we can see Hosea prophesied that in the LATTER DAYS, after a time of confusion and straying from the path, the Children of Israel would return to the FEAR of YAHUAH (loving His instruction and knowledge) and the Goodness of YAHUAH.

"Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!"

(Psalm 31:19)

His goodness, and our FEAR of Him are interconnected, and we know that this is because His goodness is only preserved for those who FEAR Him by walking in His instruction and repenting of our former lawlessness. Afterall, sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4). I'll leave you for now with a reminder of what our Messiah said in Matthew 10:28:

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

My family, if you don't have a healthy fear of Yahuah's righteous judgment, which He will execute on those who live in disobedience, you will not experience His goodness.

"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous." -James 3:7

His goodness, and our FEAR of Him are interconnected

Do not be deceived by the lawless deception that has come upon the whole world in these last days. It is the purpose of the antichrist to convince you to "do as thou wilt" and disregard the perfect, righteous and holy instructions of the Most High.
